The summit will convene at TMC Helix Park in Houston Texas, a premier life science campus that brings together top professionals in medicine, science, and academia in Houston, Texas.

Texas Medical Center (TMC) — the largest medical complex in the world — is at the forefront of advancing life sciences.  

 Home to the world’s largest children’s hospital & world’s largest cancer hospital. TMC delivers one baby every 20 minutes, resulting in approximately 26,280 births per calendar year. TMC begins one surgery every three minutes.  

  If you are planning to attend this summit from outside the U.S, you’ll first need to determine whether you need a visa.

 Please note that AFLHS host committee cannot assist with visa matters directly with embassies or consulates via fax, phone, mail, or email. The U.S. Department of State offers comprehensive information on travel to the United States, (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html) including passport requirements and international travel guidelines.

 You must be registered for the summit to receive an invitation letter for visa purposes.   The invitation letter will be sent exclusively via email to the address provided. It cannot be sent directly to embassies or consulates.  

ADDITIONAL VISA INFORMATION:

• Registered attendees for the summit may use their confirmation of registration as proof of Summit attendance for U.S. visa application purposes.
• Registration for AFLHS does not guarantee visa eligibility and      issuance, nor entry into the United States.
• The United States does not process “visas on arrival”.
• Summit registration is non-refundable.  

 Ride-sharing services Uber and Lyft both operate to the event venue making it simple for you to get a ride to and from the hotel right from your phone.
